We had the pleasure to have our hands on a beautiful brass bell from the United States Coast Guard. We are extremely thankful that we were able to restore such a beautiful piece of history. We first diagramed and disassembled the bell, we chemically stripped, cleaned and bead blasted to be sure years of wear and tear have disappeared, we then machine buffed and polished by hand, we sealed the bell with a protective coating and reassembled all parts to make it look brand new! These bells have done everything from time keeping to being alarms on ships from the early bronze age to now. Today the Maritime Law requires all ships to have one of these efficient bells to be on every US ship. We are honored and hope to be able to work on many more in the future!
