Sarasota Cinebistro Opens Friday

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota area movie lovers will have a tasty new option for taking in flicks starting Friday thanks to the official opening of Cinebistro at Westfield Southgate.

The new venue blends in-theater dining, adult beverages and movies to create an experience that goes beyond the norm. With six screens, patrons can also expect a nice selection of shows.

In-Theater Dining

Guests must arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled show start time to take advantage of the menu options. The Sarasota menu includes such meal choices as filet, Moroccan spiced lamb, seared scallops and short ribs. For those with a hunger for sandwiches, the choices include the House Ground Bistro Burger, a salmon BLT and a Vaca Frita Burger. Salads, appetizers and popcorn, of course, are also featured.

Ticket Prices

• Adults prices are $15 for shows at 4 p.m. and later. Matinee pricing (before 4 p.m.) is $12.50 for adults.
• Children under the age of 21 are welcome for shows that begin 6 p.m. or earlier. The cost for kids, ages 3 to 12, is $12.50. Children age 13 and up pay adult prices.
• 3D shows cost $3.50 more.
• Only ages 21 and up are allowed entry for shows that begin after 6 p.m. ID is required.
