Sarasota County Fair Kicked Off Friday, Runs Through March 28

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — The 2021 Sarasota County Fair kicked off Friday evening and runs through March 28 at the fairgrounds, which are located at 3000 Ringling Blvd. in Sarasota

The event brings live entertainment, rides, food, agricultural displays and programs, and other fun programming to county residents and visitors.

Tickets are $10 at the gate and $8 online for adults ages 13 and up, and $6 at the gate and $4 online for children ages 6 to 12 years old. The cost is $5 for seniors 55 and older and military. Children 5 and under enter for free.

Because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, numerous safety guidelines and precautions have been put in place for this year’s county fair.

Bactronix Suncoast will spray all public touch points, such as doors, bathroom fixture, toilets, chairs, bleachers, according to the fair’s website. The process kills any virus on contact, the fair said.

Guests are encouraged to wear masks at the fair, especially indoors, and to observe social distancing. Health warnings will be posted throughout the venue and sanitizer will be available for visitors.
