Sarasota County Libraries, Other Facilities Closed Friday: County

Libraries are closed Friday for a staff development day and will reopen Saturday at 10 a.m., Sarasota County said.

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources facilities, which includes all county libraries and the Sarasota County History Center, are closed Friday for a staff development day, according to a county news release.

Libraries will reopen Saturday at 10 a.m. and operate on their normal schedules, the county said.

The Disaster Recovery Center at the Shannon Staub Public Library in North Port will also be closed. The DRC doesn’t operate on Sundays.
