Sarasota County Spring Break 2016: Dates
The annual break is right around the corner along with a few other dates parents might want to keep in mind.
SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota County public school students eager to put away their books for a few days don’t have too much longer to wait for spring break to arrive.
The county’s schools are shutting down for spring break on Monday, March 14. The break lasts through March 18 with kids reporting back to class on Monday, March 21, according to the district’s calendar.
The third quarter comes to an end on March 23, with kids getting a day off on March 25 for a teacher professional day. Students get another day off in honor of Memorial Day, May 30. The last day of school for students this year is June 3.
