Sarasota Drug Investigation Lands Arrest

A search warrant resulted in the seizure of 60 grams of spice, 9 grams of cocaine and other narcotics.

A five-month investigation into illegal drug sales out of a Sarasota home has ended with one man facing a host of criminal charges.

Nolan D. Rebollo, 22, of 2036 7th St. was charged in the case. Rebollo was brought into custody April 23. The arrest was announced Wednesday.

According to the Sarasota Police Department, their detectives conducted a lengthy investigation into allegations of drug sales coming from Rebollo’s home. When enough evidence was collected, a search warrant was served on the property last week.

Once inside the home, officers found nine grams of rock cocaine, 60 grams of synthetic marijuana, one gram of powder cocaine, two grams of prescription pills and a variety of drug paraphernalia, an email to media from the department stated.

Rebollo was charged with felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell/distribute within 1,000 feet of a park and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rebollo was booked into the Sarasota County Jail, but later released in lieu of $20,500 bond.
