The 39th annual Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix features high-performance racing along Lido Beach Friday through Sunday. Community events include parties, live music, food trucks and vendors.

Sheriff’s Cadet Car Show

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Cadet Unit #900's first car show will take place Saturday, July 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Quaker Steak and Lube, 10400 49th St. N., Clearwater. In addition to the car show, there will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and giveaways.

BBQ and Jazz Festival

The Saturday Shoppes hosts its second annual BBQ and Jazz Festival Saturday, noon to 5 p.m., at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The market will feature a live concert, award-winning BBQ chefs, bounce houses, face painting, and much more!

Non-Er Con

This day of women’s, co-ed and rookie roller derby scrimmages starts at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Sunderman Complex in Palm Harbor. There will also be vendors and a bake sale.

Suncoast’s Largest Food Truck Festival

The Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota hosts the Suncoast’s Largest Food Truck Festival 3.0 Saturday through Monday. The event features more than 70 food trucks.

Boom by the Bay

The annual Boom by the Bay Hard Rock Takeover of Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park will return on Saturday, July 1, from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Walk on the Tampa Riverwalk. The city of Tampa and the Tampa Downtown Partnership kicked off this tradition in 2019 to celebrate Independence Day. This year's event will feature activities for the whole family.

Sarasota Paradise vs. St. Petersburg FC

USL League Two teams Sarasota Paradise and St. Petersburg FC will go head to head Saturday, 7:30 p.m., at Sarasota High School.

Tampa Bay Sneaker Convention

Sneaker exhibitors will buy, sell and trade limited edition shoes at this Tampa Bay Sneaker Convention on Sunday, noon to 7 p.m., at the Tampa Convention Center.
