Sarasota Man Stabbed in His Own Driveway
Deputies are looking for help in locating the suspect.

A Sarasota man suffered multiple stab wounds during a Wednesday night incident at his home on Gantt Avenue.
According to the Sarasota County Sheriffās Office, a man pulled into his own driveway in the 1200 block of Gantt around 9:35 p.m. when another car pulled in behind him. The person inside that car got out and told the victim he needed help.

The man, however, pulled out a knife and stabbed the person who lives at the address multiple times in the upper body, deputies say. The suspect then got back into his car and left the area.
Deputies say the man was driving a 1990s model, four-door Lexus or Mercedes that is dark red or maroon in color. The man is described as being white, about 5 feet, 11 inches in height and weighs about 195 pounds. He has dark hair and is clean shaven.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries, deputies say, are not life threatening.
