Sarasota Police Investigate 3rd Shooting This Weekend
Sarasota Police detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 3:25 a.m. Sunday, May 13, near Palmadelia Avenue.
SARASOTA, FL -- Sarasota Police detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 3:25 a.m. Sunday, May 13, near Palmadelia Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Way in Sarasota.
One male victim was shot and transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The name and the age of the victim is currently unknown.
It is unknown if this shooting is connected to other active cases. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Sarasota Police Department at (941) 316-1199 or dial 911.
