Say ‘I Do’ Again At Vow Renewal Events At Siesta Beach, Nokomis Beach On Valentine's Day

Sarasota County couples can renew their vows at public vow renewal events on two area beaches, Siesta Beach and Nokomis Beach.

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Couples are invited to Say “I Do” Again at the popular vow renewal event returning to Sarasota County area beaches on Valentine’s Day.

The ceremonies will take place at Siesta Beach, located at 948 Beach Road on Siesta Key, and Nokomis Beach, located at 100 Case Key Road on Casey Key, on Monday at 6 p.m., according to a county news release.

Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources has hosted this sunset ceremony for more than three decades.

The non-denominational vow renewal ceremonies will be officiated by Judge Riva at Siesta Beach and Judge Ruhl at Nokomis Beach.

Before the ceremony, enjoy light refreshments, music, and photo opportunities. Registered couples will also receive a flower and renewal certificate.

"Sharing a gorgeous sunset on our beautiful beaches with the most special person in your life is the perfect way to spend Valentine's Day," said Catherine Wunderlich, the Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources program coordinator.

While online registration is closed, couples can also sign up on site the day of the event starting at 4:30 p.m. for $25. Call 941-861-7275 for more information.
