Starting Dec. 4, Seasonal Bus Service Returns To Pinecraft, Siesta Key: Sarasota County

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — To accommodate an increased number of visitors and seasonal residents during the winter months, Sarasota County Area Transportation’s seasonal bus Route 33 returns Dec. 4, the county tweeted.

“The seasonal population increase impacts traffic volumes and patterns,” according to the SCAT website

The route operates Monday through Saturday bringing riders from the Cattlemen Road transfer center to Siesta Key beach.

Other stops include Siesta Key Village, Siesta Key Mall, the intersection of Bahia Vista Street and Conrad Avenue, and the Pinecraft Amish Church at 1325 Hines Ave.

SCAT will also make slight adjustments to other bus route stop times to accommodate the increased winter traffic.

There will also be bay assignment changes in bays A through D at the downtown Sarasota transfer station.
