'Siesta Key,' Sarasota-Based Reality TV Show, Moving To New City
Most of the original "Siesta Key" cast will stick with the MTV reality show, which will have a new location and name, a report said.

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota-based reality show "Siesta Key" will premiere later this month in a new city and with a new name, according to a report by the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
Since its debut five years ago, the MTV reality show has mostly been filmed in Sarasota. Now, the show will follow most of the original cast as they start new lives in Miami, the Herald-Tribune reported.
"Siesta Key: Miami Moves" premieres at 8 p.m. on Oct. 27.

Inspired by the early 2000s reality series, "Laguna Beach, "Siesta Key" debuted in 2017 and follows the lives of several young adults who confront issues of love, heartbreak, class, and looming adulthood while spending the summer together in their hometown, according to IMDB.
