Some Circle K Gas Stations To Sell Marijuana In Florida
Starting next year, 10 Circle K convenience stores in FL will sell marijuana products through a partnership with RISE Express dispensaries.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Select Circle K gas stations will start selling marijuana products in Florida next year.
Ten of the gas station convenience stores in the state will sell marijuana flower, pre-rolls, gummies and vapes through a partnership with Green Thumb, a national cannabis producer and retailer, according to a news release from the company. Circle K has about 600 locations in Florida.
The products will be sold through the company’s new RISE Express dispensaries, which will have its own separate entrance from the Circle K stores.

“The opening of RISE Express stores at Circle K locations is a game-changer. Convenience is a strong channel in retail, and people want more access to cannabis,” Ben Kovler, Green Thumb founder, chair and CEO, said. “The new RISE Express model is a huge step forward in making it easier and more efficient for patients to purchase high-quality cannabis as part of their everyday routine when stopping by their local convenience store.”
The products available at these retail stores will come from the company’s new 28-acre cultivation facility in Ocala, which will be operational by the end of 2022.
