Each week Sarasota Patch will give you a brief rundown of high school sporting events in SRQ.

Sept. 22

• Volleyball, vs. Palm Harbor University High School. Game time 7 p.m. JV plays at 6 p.m.
• Boys Golf, Riverview High vs. at the Founders Club Golf Course. Play begins at 3 p.m.
• Girls Golf, Riverview High at the Heritage Oaks. The play begins at 3:30 p.m. 
• Girls Golf, @ North Port High School, Heron Creek Golf Country Club. Play begins at 3:30 p.m. 
• Volleyball, vs. Venice High. Game time is at 7 p.m. JV plays at 6 p.m.

Sept. 23

• Football, Riverview High vs. Braden River High. Kick off is at 7:30 p.m.
• Football, Sarasota High @ Southeast High. Kick off is at 7:30 p.m.
• Football, Cardinal Mooney vs. Lemon Bay

Sept. 24

• Boys and Girls Swimming, Riverview High, Sarasota High and Booker High @ Charlotte High School. The meet begins at 10 a.m.
