Summer Circus Spectacular Returns To Sarasota’s Asolo Theater

SARASOTA, FL — The Summer Circus Spectacular, a partnership between The Ringling and The Circus Arts Conservatory, returns to the Historic Asolo Theater.

The family-friendly showcases, featuring circus artists from around the world, kicks off Friday night and runs through Aug. 13. Show times are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 2 and 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Friday’s opening night performance at 7 p.m. includes a gala reception following the show where attendees can meet the artists. Tickets are $50 and includes complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

Throughout the summer, admission to the Historic Circus Galleries and the Tibbals Learning Center is just $5 with your Summer Circus performance ticket. Admission may be purchased on the day of the show.

The line-up for the Summer Circus Spectacular includes:

• Heidi Herriott, master of ceremonies and third-generation American circus artist who has performed as an aerialist, equestrian and ringmaster
• Chris Allison, comedian and clown
• Olga Coronas and Holly Legare, Duo Lyra, an aerial act
• Dust in the Wind, hand-to-hand balancing and adagio act
• Abrehem Mola, an acrobat and juggler performing a Rolla Bolla act
• Ricardo Sosa, hand balancing and contortionist
