Teen Missing Since Leaving Sarasota Middle School Friday: Sheriff

SARASOTA, FL — Deputies are looking for a missing teenager who was last seen walking out of Booker Middle School Friday, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release

The parents of Jaiden Rafael Tolentino, 14, reported him missing to the Sarasota County Schools Police Department when he didn’t come home from school. They also posted on Facebook asking for help in finding him.

His parents learned that Jaiden was seen near T-Mobile at 8396 Lockwood Ridge Road in Manatee County, deputies said. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area but were unable to find him.

The teen was seen on video surveillance footage walking north toward Walmart Friday around 6:45 p.m.
