Tervis launches tumbler benefiting All Faiths Food Bank
Special-edition tumbler, 'Florida Strong,' released this week after hurricanes batter our region

In the wake of the 1-2-3 punch of Hurricanes Debby, Helene and Milton, Sarasota County-based Tervis has produced a special-edition tumbler, “Florida Strong,” to showcase the unbreakable spirit of our region as it rebuilds. As an additional benefit, $5 of the purchase price for each of these tumblers will support All Faiths Food Bank, the area’s only food bank and largest hunger relief organization in Sarasota and DeSoto counties.
The tumbler design resembles a traditional Florida license plate, with “Florida” at the top, “Strong” in the middle (with the “o” represented by a graphic featuring the state fruit – oranges – and orange blossoms), “United We Shine” under that, and tiny outlines of the state sprinkled throughout. On the back, the design includes the American flag and All Faiths Food Bank’s logo, and text affirms the support for All Faiths Food Bank. The color palate showcases the traditional license plate colors, green and orange.
“As a member of the community, Tervis always tries to help when a crisis arises; the recent storms have caused so much devastation and loss in our region,” said Hosana Fieber, President and CEO of Tervis. “We know All Faiths Food Bank serves as a critical resource for many community members when emergencies occur and hope that the sales of the ‘Florida Strong’ tumblers will help to bolster their operations at this difficult time.”

All Faiths Food Bank is one of the lead disaster response agencies in Sarasota County and the state. Ahead of a storm – in addition to its nearly 700 regular monthly food distributions – the organization begins transporting fresh produce, non-perishables, meal boxes and MREs (Meals, Ready-to-Eat) to area shelters, agency partners and other food banks.
Since Hurricane Debby hit in August, AFFB ramped up its number of food distributions to help people impacted – hosting seven additional disaster relief pop-ups and delivering emergency food and water to all 14 local evacuation shelters. Following Hurricane Milton, during the month of October alone, AFFB provided nearly 90,000 emergency meals to more than 1,700 new households at those pop-up sites.
