The Village Gourmet Opens on Siesta Key

A new restaurant, The Village Gourmet, has opened in the Siesta Key Village

The Village Gourmet, 5263 Ocean Boulevard, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting reception Nov. 9 sponsored by the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce.

According to a news release, guests were treated to a Village Gourmet variety of freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees, side dishes and desserts.

Brother and Sister, Fran and Mara Daidone, originally from Long Island, New York, bring a savory Manhattan Island sensibility to their freshly made, ready to go menu. 

Patrons can select from a constantly changing variety of meals to go or can stay and enjoy their meals on the patio equipped with Wi-Fi.

A breakfast buffet is offered on the patio Saturday and Sunday featuring made to order omelets, pancakes, complimentary mimosa and more.
