Thief Was Looking for a Little Entertainment

Now cops are looking for him.

The Sarasota Police Department is looking for some assistance identifying a man it says strolled into a K-Mart and helped himself to a home theater system.

The incident occurred on Sept. 16 at the 501 N. Beneva Road K-Mart in Sarasota. The man walked into the store around 6:30 p.m. and helped himself to a Nakamichi Sound Bar Home Theater System without paying, an email from the police department stated.

The man, who was in the company of a woman, was last seen wearing a white polo shirt with blue, horizontal stripes and a dark colored ball cap. He got into a maroon older model four-door sedan.
