GOP Halloween Trick-Or-Treating Event In Venice Headlined By Former General Michael Flynn

VENICE, FL — A private venue in Venice that is dedicated to supporting Americans’ Second Amendment rights to bear arms is inviting families to trick-or-treat with former General Michael Flynn on Halloween.

The Hollow 2A will host its Hollow-Ween event Sunday. Gates open at the venue, located at 826 S. Moon Drive, at 1 p.m. Guest speakers take the stage at 3 p.m. and a haunted hike and trick-or-treating starts at 6 p.m.

Flynn, a former U.S. Army lieutenant general who briefly served as former President Donald Trump's national security adviser and a new Englewood resident, headlines the event.

During the special counsel's investigation of former President Donald Trump's Russian ties, Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI. Trump later pardoned him.

Other local Republican speakers and leaders on Sunday’s line-up include:

• Alfie Oakes, owner of Seed to Table Market, who made headlines when he spoke out against mask mandates during the pandemic
• Ann Vandersteel, host of “SteelTruth,” an online news program
• Doug Billings, host of “The Right Side with Doug Billings,” a conservative podcast
• Martin Hyde, a 2022 congressional candidate for Florida’s District 16
• Anthony Sabatini, a Republican member of the Florida House of Representative
• Drew-Montez Clark, a 2022 congressional candidate for Florida’s District 25
• Kimberly Fletcher, founder of Moms for America
• Iowa Mama Bears, two mothers who have spoken out against school mask mandates

While it costs $50 to attend the speaking event, families can enter the venue after 5 p.m. for free to attend the Halloween activities. Tickets are available online here.

According to its Facebook page, the Hollow said that it’s “a future campground for kids with a foundation based on the principles of the Constitution with an emphasis on the (Second) Amendment.”

On its website, the Hollow, which is “mandate free, mask free and censor free,” says it’s a “place where Americans take gather to lawfully take back our country.”
