Two Men Injured In Four-Vehicle Crash In North Sarasota: FHP
A 62-year-old Bradenton man was driving east on University Parkway when he lost control of his car, the Florida Highway Patrol says.
NORTH SARASOTA, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol says two men were hospitalized after a four-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened at 3:19 p.m. near the intersection of University Parkway and Tuttle Avenue in North Sarasota.
According to an FHP report, a 62-year-old Bradenton man was driving east on University Parkway when he lost control of his car. The driver crossed the median and hit the front of a pickup truck that was traveling west.

This pickup truck hit a third vehicle, which hit a fourth vehicle.
The driver of the sedan was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the pickup truck, a 43-year-old man from Bradenton, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The other two drivers were not injured, according to the report.
All four drivers were wearing a seat belt.
