First-dose notifications for a Wednesday vaccination clinic at the Venice Community Center were sent out Tuesday evening.
VENICE, FL — The Department of Health in Sarasota County has scheduled 1,000 first-dose coronavirus vaccinations for a state-sponsored, drive-thru, pop-up event at the Venice Community Center Wednesday, according to an email from the county Tuesday evening.
The clinic will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday. Those registered for the clinic aren’t based on zip code or location, the county said. They’ll be pulled from those already signed up through the county’s Everbridge vaccination registration system.
Appointments are being scheduled through account number 12,633 as of Tuesday evening.
