Village On The Isle unveils plans for Arbor Vita campus in Venice

Village On The Isle (VOTI), a nonprofit Life Plan Community in Venice, has unveiled its plans for Arbor Vita, the forthcoming satellite campus situated on 50 acres at 2705 East Venice Avenue. Arbor Vita will be designed like a neighborhood and will include 130 independent living apartments and 50 standalone cottages with resort-style amenities.

Floorplans will include one-bedroom apartments ranging from 950 to 1,179 square feet, two-bedroom apartments (with or without den) ranging from 889 to 2,295 square feet, and cottages ranging in size from 1,450 to 1,800 square feet.

“Arbor Vita will be a thoughtfully designed neighborhood that welcomes a broad range of residents seeking connection, comfort and confidence in their next chapter,” said Doug Feller, CEO of VOTI. “The community will provide residents with the perfect mix of independence and connection and offer resort-style amenities, social activities, and more.”

Plans for Arbor Vita include expansive outdoor greenspaces, including a serene water feature and kayak launch, tennis and pickleball courts, a zero-entry pool and a dog park. The community will also have multiple restaurant-style venues for casual and fine dining, a golf simulator, chapel, and billiards room.

A highlight of the community will be its state-of-the art fitness center and spa with a sauna and hot tub, halotherapy and cold plunge. Recognizing the demand for wellness-focused senior living communities, VOTI began construction on a 9,200-square-foot wellness center on its main campus at the start of last year. It is expected to open to residents this summer.

Arbor Vita will offer independent living with various healthcare services onsite and others available at VOTI’s main campus, located at 920 S Tamiami Trail less than six miles from Arbor Vita. As a Life Plan Community, VOTI offers independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing onsite at its main campus in Venice.

The Arbor Vita sales office will open in August and be located at 901 Venetia Bay Blvd., Suite 300 in Venice. The community is currently accepting Priority Club members, who will be the first to receive information about the community, receive exclusive benefits and have first choice to select a residence when they become available.

VOTI expects to break ground on Arbor Vita in 2028, with completion anticipated in 2030.
