Watch: Burglary Suspects Caught on Video

The crime happened late Sunday night in Sarasota.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is asking area residents for help identifying suspects in a recent Verizon store burglary.

According to the agency, the crime took place late Sunday night at the store in the 4200 block of South Tamiami Trail. The suspects are believed to be responsible for similar crimes in Charlotte County, as well.

In the Sarasota case, the suspects broke in, helped themselves to several electronic devices and then left in a silver or light gold Mercedes SUV. They attempted to disable the store’s surveillance, but didn’t quite manage to pull it off before their images were captured by camera.
