‘Wheel of Fortune LIVE!’ To Make Sarasota Stop At Van Wezel
The touring show "Wheel of Fortune LIVE!" will take the stage in six FL cities in December, including at the Van Wezel in Sarasota.

SARASOTA, FL — The touring theatrical production of “Wheel of Fortune LIVE!” will make a stop in Sarasota this fall.
The show will take the state Dec. 17, 7 p.m., at the Van Wezel.
The televised game show “Wheel of Fortune” was “adapted into a stage show to give more fans access and more chances to win,” according to the Van Wezel website.

The TV show’s longtime host, Pat Sajak, who recently retired, and Vanna White won’t be part of the touring production.
The live show hosts for this year are Mark L. Walberg and Bob Goen, according to the Wheel of Fortune LIVE! website.

Those attending the show can audition to go on stage, giving them the chance to spin a full-sized replica of the wheel. Prizes, including trips to destinations like Paris and Hawaii or up to $10,000 cash are up for grabs as contestants call consonants, buy vowels and try to solve word puzzles.
Anyone 8 years old and up are welcome to attend the show, but contestants must be 18 or older to participate on stage.
Several ticket packages are available, including the “Front Row Experience Package,” the “Spin the Wheel Experience” and the “‘Wheel of Fortune’ Merchandise Package.’”
In addition to Sarasota on Dec. 17, the tour will also stop in several other Florida cities, including:- Niceville, Mattie Kelly Arts Center, Dec. 13
- Fort Myers, Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, Dec. 14
- West Palm Beach, The Kravis Center, Dec. 15
- Clearwater, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Dec. 16
- The Villages, Savannah Center, Dec. 19
