Whiz Kids: Rotary Speech Contest Winners

Accomplishment: The Rotary Club of Sarasota Bay recently invited two Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School Advanced Placement Literature students to participate in the annual Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.

Hannah Roddenberry, a senior, won first place with her speech on “Homelessness in America.” Tom Scheip, also a senior, took second place with “Media Manipulation.”
