Whole Foods Opening 2nd Sarasota Location
The second location is still months in the making.
Whole Foods has announced it’s bringing a second location to the Sarasota market.
The store will eventually be located in a shopping center that has yet to be built on the corner of University Parkway and Honore Avenue, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

Construction on the new location is anticipated to take 18 months to two years, the paper noted.
Whole Foods announced the second Sarasota location earlier this week while touting plans to add a total of 11 new locations to its roster.

The company operates 408 stores in America, Canada and the United Kingdom and has 116 in development, a media release from Whole Foods stated.
The existing Sarasota location is at 1451 1st St. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
