Answers are hard to come by in the Jan. 30 shooting death of Ralph Patrinostro. So his family is going to great lengths to spread their plea through the community: if you know something, please call the police.

But despite the Patrinostro shooting, the Tampa Police Department reported that the crime fell citywide by 7.4 percent in 2011. TPD touts its Focus on Four Policing Plan with a 64.3 percent decrease in crime since 2003.

An active week of traffic detours culminated with a heads-up from the Tampa Water Department: water main leak assessments March 12-30 will cause detours and delays along 15th, 22nd, and 30th streets north of Hillsborough Avenue, and along Sligh and Hanna avenues between 15th and 30th streets.
