TAMPA, FL – Roughly $4,300 of property was stolen from Cambridge Christian School in Tampa during two separate burglaries over the past nine days, said officials, who today released surveillance photos hoping for identification of the two suspects.

Break-ins at the school on Habana Avenue North were logged March 16 at approximately 8:18 p.m. and again Tuesday -- possibly by the same males, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Suspects with similar descriptions were caught on camera in both incidents, deputies said. The two males were described as: black, approximately 15 to 20 years old, wearing a gray beanie, a blue and white jacket with the Cambridge school logo and dark pants; and white, 15 to 20, wearing a blue and white, Cambridge-logo jacket and carrying a dark Nike duffel bag.

In the March 16 case, the pair are observed on surveillance entering Cambridge Christian's campus store, deputies said. The black male appeared to attempt to conceal his identity by covering his face with paper towels, then walking directly to the surveillance camera and changing the camera angle, pointing it toward the wall, the department said. The duo then stole approximately $1,500 of items, including sweaters, hats, jackets, duffel bags and candy, according to officials.

Approximately $2,800 of loot, including camera and photography equipment, a laptop and an iPad, were stolen in the Tuesday incident, where the the suspects entered the school and disabled the surveillance camera, deputies said.
