Celebrate National Doughnut Day
Krispy Kreme is giving away one doughnut per customer today in honor of the event started in 1938 by the Salvation Army.
On Friday, Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts to commemorate National Doughnut Day. For all of you trivia buffs out there, the Salvation Army actually started National Doughnut Day back in 1938.
The free doughnut deal is good for any variety of doughnut, and is limited to one free doughnut per customer. Krispy Kreme will also be offering some drink specials, including buy-one-get-one deals on coffee and frozen drinks.
In exchange, they ask you to bring in nonperishable food items or a cash donation to the Salvation Army. No purchase necessary for the free doughnut!
