The group Friends of the River invites anyone with a power boat, rowboat, canoe, kayak -- or whatever floats -- to decorate it and join this fun "celebration of living in a city on a tropical river."
Boaters will depart no later than 6pm from the boat ramp.
Spectators can watch from the riverbank along Lowry Park up to the Harbor Club at Nebraska Avenue. The Sulphur Springs Elementary School children's choir will provide carols this year.
