"Bobbalobba Dingdong" Benefit featuring The Funky Seeds, Uncle John's Band, The Applebutter Express and More

Skipper's Smokehouse hosts this benefit for Bob Edwards, who has played this venue as a member of Ramblegrass and other bands since the 1990s. (His younger brother Mike Edwards plays in Uncle John's Band, which performs at Skipper's weekly.)

Bob Edwards currently is battling lymphoma, Skipper's says. Proceeds from this concert -- and raffles throughout the evening -- will help offset his expenses.

The bands scheduled to perform are as follows:

• The Outpatients (rock)
• The Applebutter Express (jamband/ukulele)
• DMZ (rock)
• The Funky Seeds (funk/jamband)
• Uncle John's Band -- two sets (Grateful Dead cover band)
• Steve Connelly (rock)
• Ramblegrass (jamgrass)
