Exercise Class: Centering and Strengthening the Core

When we breathe and move from the center of our being, we enhance our vitality and create a solid foundation for all movement. In this uplifting workshop, we will connect to our core while awakening the solar plexus chakra, our center for power and confidence. We will explore the practice of centering, both physically by strengthening our midsection and energetically through Pranayama (breathwork) and guided relaxation. This class weaves yoga and Pilates into fluid movements to strengthen us inside and out. Like yoga, Pilates unites the breath with body and mind to build long, lean muscles. Plus, cultivating our solar plexus chakra feeds energy to our goals and ambitions, enlivening us both on and off the mat.
