Local grassroots group Inspire Your Environment hosts this roughly two-mile walk to highlight Nebraska Avenue's "hidden gems," ending at the original Taco Bus location at 913 E. Hillsborough Ave.
Organizers say this tour is accessible to wheelchairs, bicycles, children and seniors.
The walk is one of several hosted in 28 cities nationwide inspired by urban theorist Jane Jacobs, who advocated "the importance of community input while encouraging mixed-use, mixed-income, density-rich, interconnected, walkable communities," according to an article in 83 Degrees - Tampa Bay.
