Patch: Why did you join the Tampa Police Department?

Cragg: I've always had a strong service ethic. I'd been a police officer in the Army and it seemed natural to continue because it was service related.

Patch: What was your most memorable service call?

Cragg: It was a  trailer fire where two little boys under the age of 4 years old were killed. It was an in progress fire call.

Patch: What is your favorite thing about this job?

Cragg: You never know what you're going to get. Every day is different. Every person we deal with is different. Although the calls may be similar, there's different facets to it with everyone, and it keeps you on your toes.

Patch: Do you have a mentor or hero?

Cragg: I usually try to model myself after the sergeants I've worked for in the past. They're different leaders. Sgt. [Terry Goff] has been my leader on three different squads. I take things away from what they teach, and I usually try to follow my squad leaders' examples.

Patch: What's your favorite junk food?

Cragg: Krispy Kreme donuts, not to be cliché.
