Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On Busch Boulevard

TAMPA, FL -- Tampa Police are investigating a fatal accident on Busch Boulevard at the entrance to southbound Interstate 275.

The crash occurred at 6:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8. A motorcyclist was traveling west on Busch Boulevard when the motorcycle ran into the side of a trailer that crossed the westbound lane of Busch Boulevard while entering the entrance to southbound I-275.

The motorcyclist - who is not yet being identified pending notification of next of kin - is an adult male. He was declared dead at the scene.The driver of the truck that was pulling the trailer remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. He has not been charged.

The case remains under investigation.
