Plant City Woman Charged With Road Rage Shooting On I-275
A 24-year-old Plant City woman has been arrested on multiple charges following what state troopers are calling a road rage incident.

TAMPA, FL – A 24-year-old Plant City woman has been arrested on multiple charges following what state troopers are calling a road rage incident.
On Wednesday, July 25, at 8:24 PM, the Florida Highway Patrol was notified of a shooting along southbound Interstate 275 near milepost 41.
According to troopers, Destiny Star Harrison, 24 was driving a 1998 Lincoln Navigator when she reportedly shot several rounds from a gun at a Duke Energy pick-up truck driven by Giovanni Garcia, 37, of Altamonte Springs.

Troopers quickly located Harrison’s Navigator, which lost control and entered the median near Dale Mabry Highway.
With the assistance of Tampa Police Officers, Harrison was arrested and taken to the Hillsborough County Jail. Inside the Navigator, troopers found three firearms, 23.1 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcoholic beverage containers.

She is charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle, aggravated assault with a firearm, improper exhibition of a dangerous firearm, using a firearm while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage or chemical substance, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, alteration or removal of firearm serial number, DUI and no valid driver’s license.
Garcia was not injured.
