Police Seek Help Identifying Seminole Heights Serial Burglar

Tampa Police detectives are asking the community's help in identifying a person who broke into three Seminole Heights businesses.

TAMPA, FL -- Tampa Police detectives are asking the community’s help in identifying a person who broke into three Seminole Heights businesses.

The man smashed through glass doors and stole money from the businesses. He is also a prime suspect in a similar burglary in December.

All of the burglaries occurred in the late-night to early-morning hours.

The burglaries took place March 31 at 11:54 p.m. at Galaxy Fireworks; 204 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.; March 31 at 1:50 a.m. at Metropolitan Ministries; 2101 N. Florida Ave.; March 20 at 5:49 a.m. at Cappy’s Pizza, 4910 N. Florida Ave.; and Dec. 16 at 3:13 a.m. at Ella’s Americana Folk Art Café, 5119 N. Nebraska Ave.

Anyone who recognizes the man from the surveillance video at Galaxy Fireworks is urged to call Crimestoppers of Tampa Bay at (800) 873.TIPS.
