Sewer Line Inspections on Florida Avenue Begin Sunday Night
The City of Tampa Wastewater Department will begin inspecting lines starting at opposite ends of Florida Avenue at Osborne and Madison.

The City of Tampa's Wastewater Department will begin inspecting sewer lines beneath North Florida Avenue on Sunday night 9 p.m., according to officials.
There will be two crews on opposite ends of Florida Avenue working in the middle lanes. One crew will start at Madison Avenue and the other will start at Osborne Avenue. Each team will consist of several department personnel and several large city trucks on-site.
The teams are inspecting the lines using special video equipment that will record the condition of the pipe.

Drivers are asked to use caution if traveling in these areas while this work is going on. Crews will be on-site nightly until Thursday and will work until 5 a.m. Each area will be lighted, barricaded and have signage in place to alert motorists about the workers in the area.
