Sheriff Identifies 34-Year-Old Man Killed In North Tampa
Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help to locate anyone connected with this murder.

TAMPA, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has identified a man who died of upper body trauma on the streets of North Tampa.
At 2:41 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, deputies responded to the area of North Dale Mabry Highway and West Busch Boulevard in Tampa where paramedics were rendering aid to 34-year-old Michael Andrew Montalbano. Montalbano had upper body trauma and died at the scene. He was found lying next to a gray Volkswagen Jetta.
Detectives discovered that Montalbano had been injured at an apartment complex at 8505 Lincoln Cove Drive. The sheriff's office had an alert out for a white four-door Dodge Journey SUV seen at the scene but that has now been canceled.
