Stop TBX - Public Hearing - MPO

Tampa Bay Express (TBX) is a FDOT proposed $9 Billion toll-way concept that would mix toll lanes with freeway lanes (I-275, I-4 & I-75) essentially creating two separate highways a first class (TBX tolled version) and second class (Current freeways . TBX or toll way lanes would cost up to $2.00 a mile to ride and would interweave with our current freeway causing all types of bottlenecks and public safety concerns with cross flowing traffic as well as creating a 2nd malfunction junction while taking up to 15-years to construct. This new monster highway would be up to 18 lanes wide, larger than the length of a football field running right through the heart of Hillsborough county. Think LA & Atlanta type congestion traffic that TBX will induce.
