Tampa Police Seek Tips In Armed Robbery

TAMPA, FL -- Tampa Police are seeking the public's help to identify a man involved in an armed robbery Aug. 31 around 1 p.m. at Sam's Smoke Shop, 11612 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa.

The robber was captured on video entering the shop with a knife. At first, he engaged an employee in a conversation. Then, the man threatened the clerk with the knife and demanded money. The robber ran from the shop and was last seen heading south on a dark-colored bike.

Anyone with information who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
