Tampa Voters: Check Your Polling Place

Hillsborough County reminds Tampa residents to check their Election Day polling place.

With tomorrow's municipal elections scheduled, now is a good time to check the poll location on your voter registration card, especially if you haven't voted before and aren't sure whether your Tampa address lies within the city limits.

"Although many people have Tampa in their mailing address, that doesn't necessarily mean they live within city limits, said Supervisor of Elections Earl Lennard.

The easiest way for voters to check their eligibility is to log on to www.VoteHillsborough.org, and click on the precinct finder, Lennard said. If their precinct number is in the 100's, 200's or 300's, they're eligible to vote.

Voters must bring a photo ID and signature with them when they head to the polls. All polling places will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. For more information, can call 813-744-5900, or visit www.VoteHillsborough.org
