What Do You Wish Were Here?
The old commercial building at 4011 N. Nebraska Ave. has struggled to define itself in recent years.
Not too long ago this 1920 commercial vernacular building was a sign of hope for this typically drab stretch of North Nebraska Avenue.
In January 2007 Urban Design opened there, at 4011 N. Nebraska Ave., a combination business that seemingly aspired to supply enough commercial revitalization for several blocks of Nebraska. Housed inside were graphic arts, Web design, casual clothing, and music and recording studio businesses, along with medical uniform sales.
Alas, Urban Design didn't last too long. More recently the 3,666-square-foot building played host to the short-lived Dr. Sound Audio and Alarms.

The building is zoned as a retail store, according to the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser.
