One of Tampa's few vegan friendly restaurants has closed its doors at 2702 North Florida Avenue.

The Grass Root, a plant based food store and restaurant closed its doors leaving a vacancy not only in the local restaurant scene, but at an incredibly busy street corner in a part of town that is under constant transformation.

The facility was built in 1927 and can house a number of retail projects, but what the future holds for this Tampa Heights locale is far from a certainty.

So, we want to know, what would you like to see in this vacant building? Perhaps a new eatery or a coffee shop with a local feel to it. Maybe you'd like to see a new used book store open up or a consignment shop. Tell us in the comments section below.
