An auto parts chain store's have sparked criticism from residents who say it isn't a good fit for the neighborhood's burgeoning restaurant and retail scene.

Several critics spoke out against the new business on the Seminole Heights  Patch Facebook page.

"Already have Advance Auto on MLK & Nebraska AND Hillsborough & Nebraska, Auto Zone near Hillsborough & Rome, plus a hundred other auto related businesses," Derek Sassman wrote on our Facebook page's wall. "Do we really need this? I'd rather have a Post Office."

Facebook fan Rebecca Reuben wrote that she'd rather have some other type of store, a restaurant or even the original Post Office back in that location, "but at least NAPA is a well-established, successful business that isn't as big a gamble of it not doing well and ending up as yet another empty abandoned building in Seminole Heights. Just trying to hope for the best."
