1 Dead, 1 Injured in Tampa Shooting
Tampa police are asking for witnesses to come forward.

A 19-year-old Tampa man is dead and a 24-year-old critically injured following a Sunday night shooting in Tampa.
The incident unfolded around 8:14 p.m. as two officers were on a bicycle stop at 10th Street North and 24th Avenue East. They heard a series of shots just east of their location. The officers headed in the direction of the shots and found Quinton Girven, 19, with a gunshot, wrote Laura McElroy, police spokeswoman in an email to media.
Girven was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he later died.

Police later learned that within minutes of the shooting, a second person, Fady Suleiman, 24, had been dropped off at another nearby hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound. Suleiman is in critical condition.
Police say the shootings are related and are asking any witnesses to come forward to help with the investigation. McElroy said investigators believe the shooter was riding in a dark green Nissan Maxima.
