2 Dogs, 3 Snakes Rescued From House Fire: Hillsborough Fire Rescue
Firefighters rescued two dogs and three snakes from a house fire Monday morning, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Two birds and three snakes were rescued from a house fire on East Sligh Avenue Monday morning, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue wrote in a Facebook post.
After multiple callers reported the fire to 911 just after 9 a.m., units from HCFR’s Station 32 were the first to arrive and found "heavy fire" coming from the front of the home, according to the agency.
Crews pulled a hose line and moved into the house with it, knocking the blaze down and limiting its spread, HCFR said.

Witnesses told 911 that there were people in the home but during an immediate search when crews arrived, firefighters found all of them had safely left the residence.
Firefighters rescued two dogs and three snakes, which were unharmed in the blaze, the agency said.

The fire was controlled within 15 minutes of the first engine getting to the home. There were no injuries reported.
The HCFR Fire Investigations Unite determined the fire was accidental.
