Romance is in the air in Florida, where two of the nation's most romantic cities are, according to a recent study.

Shane Co., a top distributor of fine jewelry, has named 15 U.S. cities it considers to be the most romantic based on the cost of a three-course meal for two and marriage rates by state.

Metrics also included the number of romantic restaurants and hotels, search volumes for romance-related terms, the number of florists and jewelry stores per capita.

Miami (No. 3) and Tampa (No. 12) were both named to the national list.

While Las Vegas is known as the "Wedding Capital of the World," both Tampa and Miami offer several wedding venues for a couple's nuptials.

These include the Fountain Bleu in Miami Beach and the Seminole Garden Center in Tampa.

Before the "I Do," couples can honor their love and get engaged at the Cadillac Hotel and Beach Club in Miami or beachside in Tampa Bay.
