2nd Annual Pride On The River Event Set For Saturday At Armature Works

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Pride will host its second annual Pride on the River festival and boat parade, featuring a day filled with pride events on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Diamond Lounge @ Pride On The River

Residents can VIP treatment at the celebration Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m. at Armature Works, 1910 N. Ola Ave., Tampa, where the Diamond Lounge will be set up in front of the main stage and will feature a meet-and-greet and professional photo with Jiggly Caliente and Ra’Jah O’Hara of "Rupaul's Drag Race, a swag bag, a prime view of the fireworks display, picnic tables, a cooling area and the Diamond Lounge cash bar. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased here.

Diversity Boat Parade

The annual Diversity Boat Parade, featuring rainbow-decorated boats, will take over the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa starting at 4 p.m. at the Garrison Channel between Marriott Water Street and Harbour Island. The parade will head down the river to Armature Works where celebrants can hop off their boats and enjoy the Riverside Festival on the pier at Armature Works.

There are limited spaces for the boat parade. Registration is $50 or $75 for a VIP entry that includes a Pride Boat Box with swag from Winn Dixie and a reserved slip at Armature Works.

Riverside Festival

The boat parade culminates at the Riverside Festival for an afternoon of music, performances and family fun on the pier at Armature Works from 4 to 9 p.m. This event is free to the public.

It will culminate with a Fireworks Extravaganza presented by Busch Gardens at 8:15 p.m.
